Our sweet little baby Zara is now 3 months old and I honestly cannot believe that she is 3 months old! She is so diddy, she definitely doesn’t feel like a 3 month old. I know I say this every time I write an update but, even after 3 children, I still can’t understand where the time goes!
Zara is definitely still a little baby though and to be honest nothing much has changed since our last update
, but I’m happy about this because it means I get to have a baby for a little bit longer.
I honestly don’t have a clue. I was going to take her to get weighed but I just forgot. I’m not concerned about her weight though!
We don’t really have one, Zara will wake around 7:30am every morning and she starts her bedtime around 8pm but it really does depend on whatever we’re doing. Although I’m not trying to put her in a routine, she’s just slotted into the same waking and bedtime times as Keira and Joshua. Which is fab!
Ahh sleep is a bit hit and miss. Most nights she’ll wake twice for a feed and then goes straight back to sleep so it isn’t too bad, but then she can wake every 2 hours throughout the night for a feed. She does still sleep in our bed, we tried her in the moses basket and she slept for half of the night but then ended up in with us once she had woke for a feed.
Zara is still breastfed. She has had some expressed milk from a bottle but she didn’t drink much. Darren said it felt as though she was getting frustrated, I assume that could be from the slow flow from the bottle’s teat. Zara has a feed pretty much every 2 hours during the day.
Zara is still in 0-3 months clothing, especially sleepsuits. I very rarely put her in outfits, sleepsuits are much more convenient and less of a faff. She is wearing size 3 nappies and has been in them for a while.
Zara is a super smiley baby, she’s forever got a smile on her face. It’s so cute. She’s found her hand, if she’s not smiling then she’s having a right chomp on her hand! Her sleeves are always wet. Her favourite thing right now is to sit up, she just wants to constantly sit up and watch everything! She has been trying to giggle, you can see that it’s right there but she just can’t do it yet.
No signs of any teething yet, although I don’t expect any before she’s one if she follows her brother and sister. I have bought her an amber teething anklet though, just in case. You can see what we thought of Joshua’s here
