The Mummy Tag

I saw this tag going around and thought to myself, what better way than a fun tag to give you all a chance to get to know me a little bit better. It’s nothing special and it probably isn’t very exciting but I’ve done it anyway!

Are you a stay at home mummy or a working mummy?
I currently spend all my time at home looking after the little rascals.

Would you have it any other way?
At the moment, no. But the plan is to get some sort of part time job when all three are in school.

Do you co-sleep?
I do. I’ve only just got Joshua out of my bed and into his cot. Now we’ve got Zara in there. I know it isn’t for everyone but it suits us just fine (and we get that bit more sleep with her sleeping next to us).

What is your one must-have item for your baby?
Muslin cloths/squares, whatever you want to call them. They’re just too handy not to have around! I have loads in the living room and in the bedroom. They’re just useful for everything.

How many kids do you plan on having?
We’re done at three. I’d love to have maybe one more, but I know it isn’t for us and I’m more than happy with these three.

Date nights – how often do you have them?
We don’t, and that’s probably a bad thing for relationships. I just feel too guilty passing the kids over. They’re such a handful, I wouldn’t be able to relax and I’d constantly worry about the person looking after them haha.

Your child’s favourite TV show?
Oh these two definitely love Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, as well as Paw Patrol and In the Night Garden.

Name one thing you bought for your baby and never ended up using?
I guess baby toys, although we did end up using them eventually. I definitely wouldn’t rush out and buy baby toys straight away. They can’t exactly play with them for a few months.

Your child’s favourite food?
Keira loves noodles and jam sandwiches, she would definitely live off them if she could. Joshua doesn’t really have a favourite, he just likes food.

How many cars does your family have?
We just have the one. Its plenty for us.

Weight gain before pregnancy, during and after?
I don’t actually know. I never really tracked my weight gain. It was one less thing to worry about.

Dream holiday with your kids?
Nothing too extravagant and certainly not somewhere typical like Disney World. I’d probably choose somewhere outdoors, like a log cabin in the forest or camping. My kids love going exploring through the trees at the park so it would be ideal for them.

Of course I’d love to go abroad somewhere too.

How has life changed since having kids?
I feel like my life is now complete with Darren and the kids. Obviously I can’t do half the things I used to pre-children, but I feel like that part of my life is complete and I don’t need to go out on a weekend to enjoy myself. I now get enjoyment from knowing my kids are happy.

Where do you shop for your kids?
Anywhere really, but eBay is probably my favourite. I’ve managed to get some fantastic bargains from there!

Finish the sentence “it makes my heart melt when…”
Keira and Joshua play together, nicely. Smiling and giggling at each other!

Favourite make up and skin care product?
I don’t really wear make up, but I have a Smashbox mascara that I love! As for skin care, Aveeno!

Huggies or Pampers?
Neither. Aldi Mamia or Asda Little Angels always get my vote.

Have you always wanted kids?
Oh yeah definitely. I don’t think it was ever three but kids were always meant to be in my future.

Best part of being a mummy?
All the cuddles, kisses and giggles!

Now I tag all you lovely mama’s to do this tag!
