Panda Kids Memory Foam Pillow | Review

Ever since Keira transitioned to a toddler bed at 13 months she had a pillow and a duvet. She loved her pillow, it made her feel like a big girl and she refused to sleep without one. When she was a bit poorly, she ended up being sick all over her pillowcase and it leaked through onto the pillow. She clever cloggs here put it in the washing machine and the tumble dryer. What a silly mistake that was. The pillow was severely misshapen.

I attempted to get Keira to sleep on several new pillows but she refused, they just weren’t right and she kept asking for her old one back. Which couldn’t have been very comfortable at all. So when the kind people at Panda Life asked if I wanted to try out their Panda Kids Memory Foam Pillow, I knew I had to give it a go!

As soon as it came in the post, Keira was really excited to try it. She said the Panda was cute and that she wanted to sleep next to the panda! I couldn’t get my breath. All this time I wasted trying her with different pillows and all I needed was a cute panda face! Toddlers really are fussy things.

Anyway, the pillow really is lovely. As it’s a memory foam pillow I really was expecting it to be firm and quite uncomfortable (I find memory foam uncomfortable until it molds to your shape). This was not the case. It is the perfect balance between soft and firm, just perfect for a little one’s head. The material is so soft! I just wanted to rub my hands over it all day.

“Using a bamboo fiber cover, allows the pillow to breath naturally. Bamboo fiber has natural temperature regulating properties, which means it will keep your baby cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. This helps for a better night sleep, reducing the chances of overheating resulting in a disrupted night’s sleep for both you and your little one. The bamboo pillowcase zipper is neatly tucked away at the top of the pillow, to ensure that there is no contact throughout the night.”

Doesn’t that sound like the perfect pillow for your little ones? Well, Keira has spent every night on it since we’ve had it, and she has never once complained of any aches – which means it isn’t uncomfortable for her. It’s only been the past couple of nights where she has wanted to sleep with her old pillow so we let Joshua sleep on it and he slept the best he ever has! So even though it was probably just a coincidence, I’m scared to give the pillow back to Keira – haha! Joshua can keep it.

I cannot think of a pillow that has been as superb as this, I’m even contemplating buying one for myself! If Joshua can get a decent nights sleep on one then I’m sure I can too!

This sounds like a lovely pillow, and one I'd quite like for myself nevermind the little ones!
