Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Puppy’s Activity Jumperoo | Review
Zara has a new toy and I think I love it just a little bit more than she does. Fisher-Price recently asked us to review the new Laugh & Learn Puppy’s Activity Jumperoo. I had just started looking for a jumperoo for Zara, so it was perfectly timed. There are so many on the market and I was finding it impossible to pick one. After having spent some time with this one, I couldn’t picture us having picked any other. I feel like this is the mother of all jumperoos.
When Keira was a baby, we bought a secondhand jumperoo because I wasn’t sure how good they were going to be for the price, and she loved it. So we kept it in the loft for Joshua, but he had no interest in it so we sold it on. It was a huge pain to have in the living room because it was so big and took up loads of room, so I was glad to see it gone. When Darren suggested buying one for Zara I was a bit skeptical because of the size of them and that is what makes me love this jumperoo even more. It is the normal size of a jumperoo but it has the ability to fold, perfect for storage and not clogging up my living room with more toys! It’s perfect!
This jumperoo can be used from the time that baby can support their head to 12kg in weight and it has 3 height settings to use as baby grows. I found that as Zara is rather small for a 7 month old we’ve had to pop a pillow under her feet so that her legs aren’t dangling. I would say that if you use the jumperoo with a younger baby, then you may need to do the same.
There is so much for Zara to do on this jumperoo, it is full of fun activities, not to mention the ability to bounce their way all the way to the moon and back. There are 3 settings for you to chose; the first is continous music playing and this also includes a light show, which is Zara’s favourite. The shapes on the rainbow light up and flash in time with the music and she loves to sit and watch the lights flash. The second setting is a sing-a-long to spoken songs, as well as animal sounds and first words in not only English but Spanish, Italian and Russian. The third setting goes along with the bounce. For every movement Zara makes in the jumperoo, a tune is played. This certainly helps to encourage movement, reinforcing cause and effect.
This jumperoo has a 360 degree spinning seat so that Zara can turn around to face each different activity available instead of being stuck to one area. Although she’ll be a long way off from spinning around by herself, Keira is more than happy to offer a helping hand.
It is safe to say that we have really enjoyed this jumperoo from Fisher-Price and I am certain that we will have many more fun times with it. I can’t wait for Zara to learn to bounce in it and really use it to it’s full advantage. She enjoys sitting in the jumperoo and exploring all the different activities so I know she’s going to love it even more once she’s learnt how to bounce.
