I dreaded the moment when Zara started crawling, I knew she was going to be a handful and that she is. I have to dig her out of everything, her curiosity is wild! She will whizz around the living room at super speed, sliding all over our wooden floor. I was a bit stumped at how to help her not slip everywhere, especially as we don’t have a rug. So when we were asked to test and review a Crawlerz sleepsuit I was so excited!
We were sent this item in return for an honest review, all opinions are my own. For more information, please see my Disclosure page.
Crawlerz are a lovely company that produce sleepsuits with anti-slip material on them to help your little one avoid accidents and slipping on the floor whilst they are crawling, and even learning to crawl. They offer some gorgeous designs and affordable prices, just what us parents need.
I was so impressed at how much grip they provided, Zara didn’t slip once whilst she was wearing the sleepsuit. She gripped to the floor but she was still able to move around freely and comfortably. I was really impressed. Even when she wears the sleepsuit now whilst standing up and cruising against the furniture, the grips on the soles of the feet her keep her from slipping on the floor. They are fabulous!
As a parent, safety is paramount and I was always worried about Zara whizzing around the floor. Many times she had slipped and bumped her little face on the floor whilst trying to get around. The only time she doesn’t slip is when she isn’t wearing anything on her legs but then she gets sore knees. The sleepsuits from Crawlerz avoid all of that while making it look cute at the same time.
The only downside I found to these sleepsuits is that they are bigger than other clothes in the same size. Zara has just moved into 6-9 months, and a lot of them are still huge on her, but the Crawlerz sleepsuit just drowns her (which isn’t really a bad thing because it means we get more wear out of it). From what I can see on their website, the smallest size they offer is 6-9 months so I would have liked a 3-6 month option as I’m sure that would have fitted her a lot better. But it is a minor issue and one I wouldn’t complain about because overall the sleepsuit works wonders!
